Time for some desk based yoga.

We don’t move enough at work. It is starting to cause no need of issues with our posture and our weight. As more and more of us are either working in an office environment or even working from home we are starting to stop moving. This sedentary lifestyle cannot possibly go on any longer and we need to look at what we can do about it. The second answer is to do some desk Yoga. Deskbound and office Yoga is becoming very popular. The great thing about yoga is that it is not high impact and you do not need a huge amount of space to do it in. It is completely possible to do desk yoga because it does not involve waving arms around or having to do downward dog. It is designed to be done either sitting or stood up.

The emphasis is on making sure that you stretch out the muscles and keep them warm and supple. This is not cardio vascular work, no one has come up with a way to do that apart from running on the spot!
