Creative has announced the launch of two new wireless speakers designed for outdoor use thanks to its ability to resist water splash. It is the Creative Metallix and the Creative Metallix Plus, both with Bluetooth and long-lasting battery.
Starting with the Metallix, it is a model with a cylindrical shape that offers a battery life of 24 hours. It has a slot for microSD cards and is compatible with Google Now and Siri, activated by pressing a key on the speaker.
It has an FM radio that works using the USB cable as an antenna even while charging its battery. In addition, we can play files in FLAC, WAV and MP3 formats stored in your microSD slot.
The other model is the Creative Metallix Plus, which with a quadrangular shape adds IPX5 certification to its specifications and mounts a passive radiator to improve the response at low frequencies.

It has Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity and 3.5 mm jack input although it loses the microSD card slot and the FM radio tuner. Maintains compatibility with Gogle Now and Siri as well as 24-hour battery life.
Price and availability
Creative Metallix is now on sale for a price of 29.99 dollars and the Creative Metallix Plus also with a recommended price of 39.99 dollars, both available on the Creative website.
